Beethoven: Micron Ink Pen on Paper

This was an in class drawing where a series of plaster busts were set up around the room with various light sources and we were instructed to draw them using our micron ink pens.  I really enjoy the look and feel of working with fine ink pens so I enjoyed this exercise.  We were also told to only draw lines that followed the contours of the surface of the piece we were drawing, and couldn’t simply use random cross-hatching to add value.  In the end, I really liked the drawing that came out if it.
